Photoshoot Images
Soho is a character of it's own kind, filled with pornographic stickers for prostitutes, vivid colours, gender-neutral people, constant movement, lavish theatres and delicious restaurants and bars.

The photo on top of the page is my favourite out of this whole shoot, mainly because of it's balance and also because I took it quite quickly without thinking much.

The overall experience of the shoot was really fun and interesting as I have never taken pictures of that specific part of London. I enjoyed it a lot mostly because I wasn't on my own, which allowed me to take more interesting pictures as we both saw the area.

The way I approached this shoot was to show the vibrance of Soho and how it's constantly moving. To do this, I edited the vibrance and saturation of the pictures. I also made sure to show the constant moving of Soho by shooting moving objects.

Sample Images of Soho
Where? I'm going to Soho, walking inside the area. Staying close to all the vivid bars, galleries and coffee shops.

When? From 2 pm till 7 pm on the 24th of October. I'd get there by tube, arriving at Piccadilly Circus and leaving using the same route.

Equipment? I'll be using my Canon 750D DSLR with a 18-55mm lens. I'll also be using a tripod.

(in order of preference)
This photo follows the rule of thirds, and it makes it appealing to the viewer. It also showcases the vibrance of Soho through the saturation of the colours.

What I like about this image is the amount of people, which shows how crowded Soho is. If I were to reshoot this image, I would have made sure no one in the image looked blurry.

To get this image, I played around with the shutter speed of the camera. I love the composition of this picture, particularly with the man and how it fits there.

This image is made to contrast the high yellow tone of the weird umbrella against the grey backdrop. It also plays around with leading lines, especially because of the woman, the viewer is first drawn to the umbrella, then to the woman, and since the woman is looking at the menu, the audience gets drawn back to the umbrella in a certain way.

The first problem I found with this image is in the sky, as there is a massive lack of detail in the sky, due to me not fixing the exposure compensation that day. Also, there's a tree in there that looks a bit out of place. What I do like of this picture is that it shows movement and how Soho is constantly moving and changing.

The best thing about this image have to be the leading line the image has from right to left. The only thing I hate about the image is that one of the subjects, is blurry, probably because I did not shoot with a fast enough shutter speed. This happened with three other pictures which are seen in the left and the first one below.
This image was cropped to emphasise the stickers. The saturation of this image was also edited to make the colours pop more.
